“Aways keep reaching.” – ¬†Gary Burton

The diversity of sounds and perspectives in jazz is legendary. And jazz history is both wide and deep. This directory of resources provides jazz students, jazz educators, and appreciative and curious jazz listeners a glimpse into the vast past, present, and future of jazz.

The directory was compiled in spring 2012 as part of the DFJE Jazz Artists in the Schools grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, funded by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008. Accuracy will be verified periodically but please contact us if you find a broken, outdated or misdirected link.
